Risk Assessment and Pre-issuance Vehicle Inspection
Among the insurance products sold on this website, physical damage insurance for automobiles requires a vehicle inspection prior to policy issuance. This inspection and the recording of the vehicle's condition are conducted in accordance with the regulations of BIDV Insurance Corporation. No risk assessment or pre-issuance inspection is required for other insurance products.
A BIDV Insurance Corporation representative will contact you based on the appointment schedule you provided during your online purchase to conduct the vehicle inspection. If your vehicle fails to meet our requirements upon inspection, the representative may decline to issue the policy. In the event of a refusal to issue the policy, we will refund the amount you paid; however, you will be responsible for any incurred costs, such as transaction fees charged by payment partners.
A vehicle will be considered as not meeting requirements in the following cases:
- The motor vehicle does not meet the eligibility criteria for the vehicle type sold via the website, has a history of accidents, or falls under the exclusions specified in the motor vehicle guidelines...
- Information regarding the asset declared by the customer on the website does not match the actual condition, and such incorrect information alters the total premium paid by the customer via the website.
If an inspection of the actual status reveals discrepancies between the declared information and the actual findings, the following handling procedures apply:
