In the event that a customer unfortunately encounters an insured risk requiring medical treatment at a healthcare facility, they may choose one of the following two methods:
1. Hospital Fee Guarantee Service:
Customers visiting affiliated medical facilities are eligible for BIC’s Hospital Fee Guarantee Service. The procedure is as follows:
Step 1: Look up the list of affiliated medical facilities within BIC’s hospital fee guarantee network at https://mybic.vn/tien-ich/NETWORK_MEDICAL
Step 2: Complete the hospital fee guarantee procedure
- Upon hospital admission or outpatient consultation, the customer must present the following documents:
+ For Insured persons aged 18 or older: ID card (CMND/CCCD) or Passport.
+ For Insured persons under 18: Household registration book, birth certificate, or passport of the insured person, along with the ID card (CCCD) or identification document of their legal representative.
+ BIC Care insurance card (if available).
- The medical facility will contact BIC’s Claims Department directly to obtain the Hospital Fee Guarantee Certificate.
- Upon discharge or after medical examination/treatment:
+ The customer is not required to pay the medical facility for treatment costs covered by the insurance policy.
+ Sign to confirm the treatment and medical services received.
+ Pay for any medical costs not covered by the insurance policy (if applicable) or costs exceeding the insurance liability limit.
- Hospital fee guarantee service hours:
+ Monday through Saturday: 08:00 to 18:00 (no lunch break).
+ Closed on Sundays and public holidays (including Tet).
+ In the event of hospital admission during non-working hours, customers are requested to provide a deposit if required. Arrangements for the hospital fee guarantee service will be made on the next working day. The medical facility will refund the deposit to the customer prior to discharge.
